Regional Tournaments
We are pleased to announce that we have now finalized our tournament plans for the 2022-23 program year. Thanks to all who responded with their expected team counts – this gave us the data we needed to make this decision.
For this year, both the Catoctin (R14) and Dulles (R16) regional tournaments will be held on February 25, 2023, at Riverside High School. Although the tournaments will be run concurrently at a single time and location, they will be considered as separate events, with separate scoring for each region. Each region will send winners on to the state competition as usual. There will be a single award ceremony at the end of the day where winners in each region will be announced.
In case of inclement weather, we have also reserved a snow date of March 11 at Woodgrove High School. Teams should keep both dates in mind in the planning team, judge, and volunteer availability.
Tournament registration
Registration is now open for both the Catoctin and Dulles tournaments at the nwvoices.org website. Registration pricing is $100 per team. Be sure that your judge and volunteer are also registered. Teams, judges, and volunteers can all register by going to “LOGIN” on the site’s main menu.
